TFL SWOP initiative was conducted in 2022 with a crowdfunding grant received from IFDC-2SCALE. Our initiative was to empower 3 Women Cooperatives from 3 local government areas in Sokoto: Wurno, Dange-Shuni and Gwadabawa. A One-day training was conducted on group dynamics, cooperative management and technical training on Onion processing. A total of 11 Women comprised from the 3 cooperatives were trained and the goal is that they will step down the knowledge to other Women Cooperatives in Sokoto. At the end of the training, the 3 Cooperatives each received a certificate and complete sets of locally manufactured dryer, cutter and grinder.
